Success record in non WC years…Jake vs Eluckmiss

23/17 Eluckmiss….Jake 22/14. So Jake was clearly more successful. But these stats understate the difference. When Jake coached there was no Bargie factor in the TN giving an almost automatic 2 wins a year, and Oz was a much tougher opponent.

Just taking the Bargies out of the Eluckmiss record reduces his record to 18/16…..almost 50/50.

The truth is the Boks have been atrocious under Eluckmiss in non WC years. So he has 2 challenges in front of him. To win a full RC. Secondly, his self confessed need to develop our running game.

This is the year to do it it. Through another brilliant Rugby move we now play Oz away in both games and the ABs at home in both games. Much easier than the reverse.

The talent looks great, the schedule is favorable…it’s time for Eluckmiss to produce a good RC result.

Who the fuck judges a coach based on non WC years - it’s a joke

Trophies and rankings are the measure of a coach - Rassie is on a different page to average Jake and let’s face it at times Rassie has been banned

Nonsense drop 2006 when Jake was sabotaged and compare Jake 04/05 vs Eluckmiss 18/21/22……the truly comparable years.

Jake was 17/7 vs Eluckmiss 18/16 without the Bargie boost.

Way, way better. Eluckmiss has an awful record in non WC years with no excuses.

Mozart

You posted thsui BS  beforre and was proved to be total BS.    Find someting else to post and stop showng  your rugby ignorance,    Just expplain to me the facft that the A ussies beat the Sringboks 46/0 in 2006?

Under Jake lossers were normally by big margins - wins by narrow margins,     Example in the Tr-nations in 2007 the ABs beat the Springboks 33/6 and that 3 months before the start of the WC.

Most games the Boks have lost under Erasmus were close. It is always a competitive team.

If the Boks attack improves, their winning ratio will also improve

The average loss margin in 2004/2005 was 7.

The average loss margin in 2018/2021/2022 was 6.

So nope….no significant difference in the loss margin if we exclude 2006 where Jake was subject to a coup and team morale was destroyed.

To paraphrase Andrew Lang: Moffie uses statistics as a drunken man uses lamp-posts . . . for support rather than illumination,

Ceteris paribus…..look it up and I’ll explain it to you (sic).

What a load of utter shit - what the fuck is the Bargie boost

What the hell is 18/16?

Jun 26, 2024, 23:01

18 wins….16 losses is the Eluckmiss record in non WC years, played as if the RC was the same as the TN ….so we can compare directly to Jake’s years, which were played without the Bargies.

Both coach’s treated similarly.

The ‘utter shit’ is in your mouth….the logic is in the post.

Mozaqrt you are talkln g itter shirt and shu;d never imrove ffrom that level of BS  spreading on all topics.    Don't you know that soem BS i acceptable - but BS  lined up with subject idiocy is not.  Just find out why Wh ite was fored at least once because of idiocy and twice  his contracts were not renewed and once he broke his cntract because he ahd a hissy fit about not being  appointed as Aussie coach - why should that be regarded as ositives.

But the fact that you claim that Cotzee provided the players Erasmus used - is also supreme BS of an unbeleievable level.   .
