He put more time into this than some of his recent videos.
His analysis of South Africa's defence is really good.

He rightly points out that South Africa has the best defence in the world.

If you ever wanted evidence of the genius of Rassie it’s the fact that he had the players rolling over to slow down the ball for Smith

The fact Squidge picks up on these details is phenomenal

He is the best analyst out there - by some distance made that much more strange by the fact that he looks anything but like a rugby man

I can only listen to about 10 minutes of this guy….but it’s amazing, with all those brilliant tactics the Boks beat the 14 man ABs by one point.

It could all have been captured in two words…red card. Astonishing to me how so many rugby commentators can ignore the 10 point disadvantage of a half  while down a man.

As for that rolling on the deck, just another infraction Barnes missed in his dotage.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!

Rooi, I made a post for yourself and Moz in the trumpet section.

You showed a bit of interest in the topic a while back so thought I'd provide an update.

Nov 06, 2023, 07:30

Ah Moz those sour grapes are still with you

NZ had 14 men so did we for 20 min including the last 10 min of the game

We lost our only specialist hooker after 2 min negating any set piece dominance we should have exerted

The NZ try should not have been awarded the pass clearly goes forward and let’s face it Kolisi completely botched the try we should have easily scored

Moz can I just suggest you suck it up and admit you have Rassie completely wrong like Rooi has been man enough to do and in that way save yourself from further embarrassment on here

The Boks and Rassie are simply brilliant in the way we won that WC - considering the path to get there

Rassie is a genius and Squidge is correct Kolisi is the greatest captain of all time.

Squidge’s analysis on any game is simply next level, the guy is gifted. If I was Rassie I’d bring him on board - offer him a job

Suck it up Moz

Poor Mozzz just keeps digging and the hole just keeps getting deeper and deeper.

Seldom have we seen such a biased poster defending such absurd positions. He can see no reason why the Boks won it seems.

Then we have his sidekick Doos who thinks the Bok defence is terrible.

Frankly I genuinely wonder if something has gone wrong with Moz. Or maybe he can't like Rooitwit admit he got it wrong?

No Dave….we had two cards of 10 minutes. NZ had one card of 10 minutes and one card of 50 minutes(the yellow/red).

So here’s the calculation: 50+10-10-10 = 40.

NZ were down a player for 40 minutes. A detailed study of cards over many  games established the disadvantage is 0.25 points per minute. A point every four minutes. Ten points every 40 minutes.

You raise the loss of our hooker and the effect that had on the Boks. I agree, but that was the result of a decision Erasmus made. Not the result of anything that happened in the game. So it doesn’t reduce the handicap.

See how clear things become when you actually use logic.

Nov 06, 2023, 13:25

Mwaaaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!

Nov 06, 2023, 13:28

Regardless of Rassie’s decision the reality is we were still handicapped by not having a specialist hooker to take advantage of our numerical advantage

So the theory on 14 players is negated by this fact along with the fact the Kiwi’s should not have been awarded their try and we should have scored one no thanks to Kolisi

So my point is, we fucked up along with the officiating (try given) but still managed to win.

Had we played with a specialist hooker, had the Kiwi try been overturned and had Kolisi made the pass we could then have said we won that thanks to the red card because then we would have dominated the set piece and with that probably gained another try or two and almost certainly a few more kickable penalties

Nov 06, 2023, 13:41

Well lots of ifs and or buts. NZ outgained us by 460 meters to 360 and beat 37 defenders, we beat 14…. they had 60% of the possession.

What did we do except tackle?

Nov 06, 2023, 14:01

We tackled and disrupted them. We bashed them physically as we did England in 2019

Physicality trumps is why I’m always calling out the physically ineffective Mostert

Nov 06, 2023, 16:27

Bashed them so much that they beat us 8 points to 3 after the red card. Dave just be honest, we scraped home with a one dimensional performance.

Nov 06, 2023, 16:52

Yes we bashed them physically and they hardly played a dynamic expansive game it was as one dimensional as ours - it was a final

Their 8 should not have been - that try was no try

Nov 06, 2023, 17:00

Well they were 37/14 times as dynamic as we were. But then we had Dud Allende…..that honor guard run he  gave Mo’unga for an AB try, called back incorrectly after more than 2 phases, was truly one of the most pathetic things I have seen on a rugby field,

Nov 06, 2023, 17:20

Called back incorrectly???? Geez since when was an obvious knock on acceptable. Stop clutching at straws

Most pathetic thing this WC was Mostert a Bok lock’s attempts at carrying in traffic coughing the ball up twice while being smashed backwards - sad excuse for a lock

Nov 06, 2023, 17:31

Franco Mostert has just helped us win a RWC. He's a hero, along with the rest of them. Don't sink to the level of Moffie, Doos and Buttplug.

Nov 06, 2023, 17:33

I love Mostert

Nov 06, 2023, 18:06

Incorrectly because it had passed the period for review and the ref said several times no knock on. Yes there clearly was a knock on, but  that had nothing to do with Dud’s defense which was an exact replay of his failure to tackle Nonu in the 2015 WC, leading to Barrett’s try and our exit. Come to think of it, that was the most pathetic thing I have seen on a rugby field…the Mo’unga honor guard was second.

Nov 06, 2023, 19:01

He put more time into this than some of his recent videos.

I think one of the reasons for the shorter videos was that no independent creators were allowed to use World Rugby's video footage, which is why he made use of a series of screenshots to demonstrate stuff, which is more time consuming and a pain in the ass. I see this video has now been struck with a copyright claim.
