I kno about and saw the onecase in Durban where a spctaor tackled the ref because he was hoeless and favored the AB's in the test. After the arrest of the tacxkler the criwd tried t find out hsi name - I elieve his surname was Van Zyl - because they wanted to fund his legal costs and any fine he would be found to pay as a resul of the incident.
There was a scrum in the AB 22 and the scrum was fed by Joos, The 9th man picked up th e ball and forced his way th rough to score under the posts. The ref claimed he was off side when picking up the ball which was obviously BS.
Is that right - WOW............

Mike, why would anyone pay legal fees for a pissed idiot (Piet van Zyl I believe) when he assaults the ref?? Luckily World Player of the Year Lord Richie McCaw came to the ref’s aid. What a hero…….Saffex’s favourite player too….
What an embarrassment .
It was an embarrassment...a drunk idiot tackling a ref and injured him in the process...assault? Technically yess, but also not the most shameful thing to ever happen in a rugby test match...and I feel a wee bit guilty finding it funny too.
