Great hands, great boot, good general but the thing that stands out for me above all is his composure. He doesn't get rattled or crawl into a hole when he knows he's made a mistake.

Hate to be picky lads! He is certainly a talented player but with one glaring issue. He can’t kick with his left foot!! All great 10s have the ability to kick off both feet….
Moolaa
The kid is still very young and he will learn the left foot kicking soon enough. His test experiemve is barely 4 starting tests and he obviously have many opportunities to get much better in future, Indications are that he will be a major addition to Springbok rugby in fu
tire.
Moolaa go bend down in front of him so he can get some practice kicking with the left leg.
Sasha is very good with a great temprament.
Fassi is superb under the high ball. I am hoping Willie can teach him the art of the pass. Willie is probably the best passer of the ball in world rugby.
Willie is probably the best passer of the ball in world rugby.
That's impossible when DDA is the best passer in the team. Not even the opposition can resist catching his magnificent passes.
LOL!
Something tells me he should already know how to kick with both feet Mike. He’s not 12 FFS!!
I think this mooooooo la la la land kiwi is a tad jealous! Barring injury it looks like we have a flyhalf great in the making. huge boost.
The Bok backs are improving pace wise. Black player tend to have more twitch muscle than other race groups. We haven't yet seen the full potential of this but more blacks are playing rugby than before.
Add this to the usual forward power and it a great brew. Black forwards like Ox are also augmenting traditional Afrikaner
forward power.AND at last we have a great coach.
But a word of caution oaks some great players will be no more in a few years. Its rebuilding time and that is always difficult. I anticipate a few losses but believe we will remain in the upper echelons of world rugby. Then its on to a third RWC win?
What a load of shit needing to kick off both feet
The lad probably can kick off both we have just not seen it yet
Beeno
Do you really think there is no rebuiding being done. In the backline we have Willemse who would be the ideal 12 in years t come/ The only olde players left is Willie, Pollard, Kriel,De Allende and Reinach. There are a host of playes knocking on the doorl
The talent pool is very big and the NZ com, mentators have mentioned it - the pool is much bigger than they have available. It is not always possile tobrig a plyer like SFM into the starting line-up but he is something special - so he can walk in. Willemse is alo a star players and when he is back from injury heinm the startng line-up son.\
Thhe kry two players that is likely to make it through to 2027 is Du Toit and Etzebeth. We have youngsters like Van Heden and Hanekom cming through as well.
.
I am amazed at the delight of most membes with regard to Sacha Feinberg-Ngomezulu. I wrote about him regulary over the past 18 monhs and at that stage nobody knew abou him - they did not even know what provincial team he played for - now suddenly he is eveybody's favorite player.
Erasmus knew about him and kept him a a surprise choice at flyhalf . When eh had a hand injury Erasmus evn phoned him and told him to make sure he will be fit to play and that indicated that our brilliant coach knew and made sure the youngste is going through the ruight processes and wnts him to be the backline pvo of the future.
.
Mike of course there a players coming through. But it takes time for them to blend in, mature etc.
To me the issue is the world class players. How will Marx, Etzebeth and Du Toit be come the next RWC. Will Du Toit still be an eighty minute player. Will we find replacements as good as this crop.
The wee abs had a good side with McCaw etc but have not been the same since.
You cant take anything like this for granted. That said I think as long as Rassie is there we are in good hands and have a great chance of remaining at the very top level. Time will tell.
I am hoping a great Bok backline is in the making.
Williams, Sasha, Willemse, Moodie and Fassie are already performing.
Saffex, you can’t have looked very hard at the replay. There is a play where Sacha clears the ball across the field from right to left and he very clearly uses his right foot which looked totally awkward! He obviously has no confidence with his left foot which would have been the natural one to use for any competent player in this situation! Go have another gander!
Yeah I know he has not used his left foot I’m just saying given how naturally gifted he is I’m sure it’s something he can do but not confident enough to use it yet but for me it’s not important he is too classy a player to worry about a minor detail like that.
Kicking off both feet is a very new art, the flyhalves of old all kicked off one and I can only think of Libbok currently that kicks off both really well - I know Pollard does not
Naas Botha could kick off both feet, but many flyhalfs cant.
Some teams have a fullback who kicks of the other foot.
Hey Pakster could you put a cap on y
a daft comments.Thanks!
"Something tells me he should already know how to kick with both feet Mike. He’s not 12 FFS!!"
Indeed, but I must confess that I haven't noticed that he can't...interesting that you did...must be relieved that there's a potential Achilles...
PS, not to concerned about it too much, we had Braam, Koen and some others for a while...can live with Sasha for the time being...better than having 2 left feet.
It’s unlikely to make a massive difference Draad. Would only come to light should he be hard on defence and the opposition cuts down his ability to use his right foot.
David Campese says that on very few occasions a player arrives on the test scene and you just have to take a breath and know you are witnessing something special. He reckons not since Dan Carter has there been someone who just has it all
I'll give 5 out of 10. Still has a long way to go. Is he better than Manie, yes. Is better than Pollard, maybe. Is he our best 10, not yet.
I like this kids, plays with a smile on his face. More physical than Manie but has more guile than Pollard.
Pollard use to break tackles where as Sasha glides through gaps.
Manie has more ticks, but is a confidence player.
My only question, what will the Stormers do with Manie, Sasha and Willemse?
I would prefer if they just keep him at 10 and not move him around like they did with Willemse. Great players can cover some many spots, but just give me a specialist.
Would like to see more of him at 10 in the URC. Maybe Manie will go to the bulls or the Stormers can work on a plan.
But Manie has to show he can play under pressure and in poor weather conditions or rugby conditions
5 out of 10 - fuck off

Yet again - boy this lad is a gem. His ability with ball in hand, his kicking out of hand are all top notch but what really impressed me was his defence
The lad has it all and his work rate is spot on, he never gives up
Also great to see Fassi doing so well - great hit on Blackadder to stop him dead stopping a potential try
