Watch this space, this guy can play. Future book 12, as long as the sharks don't mess him up.

Standing 1.94 m tall and weighing 98 kg, great frame

I said it before, but he has a lot of gas, extremely high work rate. Covered a lot of ground. A lot of modern 12 like Dud and Bundi are big bruising steam rollers. Or should I say putting green rollers. Neither have a lot of pace and don't cover nearly as much ground. Once they are beaten they stop running.

That was not the case for Ethan yesterday. He chased after a kick and easily out sprinted the Ulster backline players, managed to get a toe on the the ball and regather it before it found the sharks player to score.

Then, some see saw play happening. The sharks break down the flank but some how coughs up the ball and Ulster counter with hardly any cover defence. Ethan ran his guts out to chase the surge up the field. He didn't give up and turned around and managed to make a telling tackle, bundling the Ulster player into touch.

I think we found our 12. I like Andre Esterhuizen, but I think Rassie needs to keep a close eye on him this season. If I was plumbers I would give him as much game time as possible

Wait till you see more of Bruce Sherwood at 12 - currently recovering from an injury

He is only 19 but boy what a talent - also a big boy at 100kg , has already played for WP in the CC last year

Watch his highlights package on YouTube

There are some really good young centres coming through

Hooker, Sherwood, Jurenzo Julius, Henco v Wyk, Josh Boulle, Hartzenberg , Litelihle Bester, Mkhize, Letebele

I see that after his great game last weekend the wonderful coach has rewarded him by dropping him to the bench and recalling old man Frans Venter to start at 12

Go figure

Yes, I'm also a bit dumbfounded. If Hooker didn't do enough to deserve another start then I'm at a loss.

Plumtree seems to be getting so many things wrong these days

Yes, the Sharks must be the worst managed sports franchise on the planet . . . well, maybe after Chelsea FC . . . and I'm one of those that Dense referrred to who defended John Plumtree. Just don't know what the problem is but I suspect it was Curwin Bosch. Already a big improvement with Masuku at flyhalf . . . let's hope it continues.

Yeah I see the French club no longer want Bosch so he might be stuck at the Sharks
