Thank fuck Kolisi has been retained as our captain - I’m guessing it was never in question with Rassie - usual media bullshit

Great player and great leader

Saffolk getting poetic in his old age :)

Kollisi is 33 years old and his form for Racing 92 has not been excellent…in my opinion, there was no other option choosing him as captain again because of his political status…besides that, we need to phase him out because of his age and lack of form….we all know that the days Thor still used to play, he was actually our captain which was clearly seen on field when decisions were made he always used to consult with Duane…. And Rassie,s statements , that he prefers his Captain to be locally based, is actually embarrassing as he is also a puppet and had no other choice but to pick Kollisi….as I said before this is my opinion and no need to chop my head of : )

Who gives a shit what his form for club was like - all Boks form for club vs country is way down that’s a proven stat

For now he needs to be retained as our leader until his test form merits him moving on

By far our best leader and he is a class player

Captain 55 min, hasn't played a single full match in a World Cup final or World Cup match. Kwagga has to come on to turn the tide. Duanne Vermeulen was the real captain. Played the full game in 2019 and you can see him on the field doing all the talking and leading by example. In the 2023 World Cup Duanne at the tender age of 37 played up to 75 min. Kolisi being much younger never did his primary role of playing to the ball. Prefers to stand off the ruck and wait for the ball the to come to him. Often assist in tackles, but doesn't really knock players back. Afraid of contact.

I remember when Francis Louw was still playing. He came on in the last 15 against All Blacks in NZ, previously Shannon Frizzel bull dozed over kolisi to score a try, but when Louw came on, the guy would be the first person to stop the pick up and drive. He put his body on the line and when the dust settled, you saw louw emerging from the bottom of the ruck all bloodied, but he stopped the an almost certain try if Kolisi was on the field.

The guys is a great token for SA, the boks could cope with him on the field. Not many captains are the best players. We saw that with John Smit, we saw it with Victor Matfield and we even saw it with Teichman and Francious Pienaar.

But I never saw kolisi rally the troops ever. It was quiet PSDT that had to give the guys kick up the arse in the Semi when we looked to have lost the game.

Bullshit Rassie gave the side the kick up the arse at halftime against England

PSDT just continued the theme with a one liner

Kolisi is a class player and great leader

Kollisi is great Guy and comes from humble beginnings ….. but now that he is overwhelmed with fame, he has forgotten where he comes from….it’s not helping that people treat him like a golden egg, that needs to be handled with gloves….the guy is definitely not fat, but his head has grown considerably and is weighing him down…..same as with Tassels, come down to the ground and focus on the real Rugby path….
