It looks like Mason Mount is finally leaving Chelsea to join Manchester United. According to multiple reports, the two clubs have reached an agreement after long negotiations, which saw several United offers rejected by Chelsea. With the 24-year-old’s contract expiring in a year, Chelsea appeared to be running the risk of losing his services for nothing next summer as Mount had already informed them he wouldn’t be signing a new deal.

United’s last offer stood at £55 million, while Chelsea wanted £65m. In the end, the sum of £55m was accepted, but with add-ons to potentially raise the total value of the transfer to £60m.

Timothy Weah, the son of former AC Milan star George Weah, has arrived to Turin to undergo his medical before completing a €12 million transfer from LOSC Lille to Juventus.

The 23-year-old winger joined Lille in 2019, and has scored eight goals and provided as many assists in 107 matches for the Ligue 1 side. Capable of playing on either flank at both ends of the pitch, he will surely be a useful addition to the Bianconeri with Angel Di Maria and Juan Cuadrado both leaving the Allianz Stadium.

Bayern Munich have reportedly agreed personal terms with Napoli defender Kim Min-jae. Napoli are reluctant to sell their defensive stalwart, but they won’t have a say in the matter from July 1st when the release clause in the contract of the 26-year-old kicks in.

The South Korea international was reportedly of interest to both Manchester United and Newcastle, but it seems he wants to play in the Bundesliga as the next step in his career.

His intended role at the Allianz Arena will be to replace the Paris Saint-Germain-bound Lucas Hernandez, whose transfer to the Ligue 1 champions has already been agreed and will bring in an amount around €48-50 million for Bayern.

Bayern Munich are reportedly continuing their pursuit of Harry Kane. They’ve seen an offer of €70 million rejected by Tottenham Hotspur straight away and have received no encouragement from the North London club about going any further, but apparently it hasn’t deterred them from going in stronger to get the man they believe would be the perfect striker for their ranks.

Kane is believed to be keen on the idea of moving to Munich, but with Spurs in no mood to do a deal, he will have to force the issue by making his feelings clear to chairman Daniel Levy.

Aston Villa set to sign Pau Torres

According to multiple reports, Aston Villa have reached an agreement with Villarreal over the proposed transfer of Pau Torres. With the personal terms between the Premier League club and the 26-year-old defender already settled, the transfer seems imminent.

Torres has, of course, played under Villa boss Unai Emery at Villarreal, and the Spanish tactician has insisted on having him at Villa Park. The first reports of Villa’s interest in his services appeared back in mid-May.

Set to join Tyrone Mings, Ezri Konsa and Diego Carlos as the senior centre-back options at Emery’s disposal, Torres should become the first signing Villa make since the appointment of Monchi as their sporting director. A five-year contract is being prepared, and the medical is already scheduled.
