I can't help of being reminded by one of Bill Lawry's favourite quotes "Cricket is a funny game" and I don't think he meant a haha funny.
Apparently Oz have to beat India to advance.

Denny - thanks for your response. Yes so far the situation is that the India and SA matches played tomorrow is crucial insofar as the semi's are concerned. Since SA thus far beat all three teams they played in the Group of 8 they will be in the smi and a win against the West Indies would determine which team they will play in the semi.
There is a problem as to the upcoming matches - If India beat Australia and Afghanistan beat Bangkla Desh - Autralia can take their flights home early.

So continuation of Australia's advance to the semi-finals depends on Bangla Desh beating Afghanistan in their final play-off match, If Afghanistan beats Bangla Desh they will advance to the semi's - or am I wrong?
Unbelievable outcome potential.
