We were all fascinated to watch Proctor bowl with his front foot delivery…..sad to hear he’s gone.
Would loved to have seen Proccie....a legend off and on the field. The game is poorer without him.
RIP mate.
RIP Mike and thank you for the joy you brought to so many that had the pleasure to watch you and get to know you.
You, Lee and Barry will always be in my thoughs and prayers.
Thank you.
Sees sad that he died from complications after routine heart surgery
Dave no surprise to me as most of the Doctors and top medical staff have relocated to Canada, USA, Australian and the UK.
Unfortunately from reports I have read or been informed of by folks still chancing it in RSA the top guns in the Medical field have or are in the process of fleeing the sinking ship or sub.
Sadly the folks who badly need care and medical attention are in limbo as the waiting time grows longer and longer.
Some ex SA Doctors that we know who are now living and working in Canada do regularly go back to RSA on short working trips to lend assistance to the needy and those desperate for medical help.
As does my youngest daughter who is an RN who uses her vacation each year to go back to RSA and provide free
assistance.A TV interview conducted in a few RSA universities some time ago indicated almost all future graduates irrespective of background are determined to move overseas as soon as they graduate.
Not great news for the poor, weak and suffering or the country.
