Yes I know it's wishful thinking. Do you know what's going on with Nandre Kruger, he's dropped off the radar....thought he was playing in the IPL but not a peep of recent news about him?
I've read somewhere that there's a faint chance of Faf being selected, he'd add some spine to the squad.
Anyway May 1 is the date for the announcement of the 15 man squad,

to second guess what the Protea's newest coach will select as a team for the upcoming T20WC. He bothers me, the experiment to play Brevis(an opener) at 7 was an uncalled for disaster when there is Marco Jansen. If the powers that be are serious about winning then the likes of Bavuma, Reeza Hendricks and maybe one or two others should make way for Rickleton, Stubbs, Breetzke and Brevis.
Most of the runs should come from the top three where the platform is laid to win. The attack picks itself in Rabada, Kruger, Coetzee and Nortje with perhaps Maharaj as a spinner option, I wouldn't bother with Shamsi. Markram is an excellent foil as an additional spin bowler which leaves open the option of playing 7 specialist batsmen .
